This has nothing to do with my other pony comic, but I wanted to get this out.

It's spooky enough for October, I think.

At least Nightmare Night.

A different and/or deeper look into the Sculpture Garden.

The very first establishing shot IS an edited screenshot from the show, so Copyright Hasbro and all that jazz.
I also used some cloud cutouts from

in the third panel. (Of whom said they were free to use)
But the rest is completely mine.

Hey there. Wow, thank you all for the attention this has gotten!
I might have expected the views once it got posted to EqD, but all the comments and speculation has been such a pleasant surprise.

When I doodled out the thumbnail layout for this idea my main goal was to invoke a little bit of horror. (What better time than October?)
The kinds of scares I always loved were always the 'in broad daylight' scares. Not particularly the dramatically lit spooky dark ones.

I had everything inked before 'Lesson Zero' aired but added the second to last panel afterwards.
It was interesting to see how freaked out Twilight was over what she assumed 'Celestia would do to her' while I was adding the backgrounds to this.

This had always been planned as a oneshot. I had never planned on going any deeper. But the fandom/bronies seem to want to. So I think I'm going to let them take this how they please and write their own stories behind it. There were a lot of great ideas floating around in the comments across the internet. I was flattered and pleased that this could spark something creative within the fandom.

If I ever do go deeper into this it won't be for a long time, I still have another multi-part comic I'm working on in addition to other things.
