Trotting Dead - The Governor

As much as I enjoy how this drawing looks, the satisfaction comes from getting the design hashed out rather than it being a very good picture. So I suppose I should draw another, more dynamic, Gov using this design.
Ahaha. I just like holding off on posting the Daryl(s) since I know it's what everyone wants.

The Gov's cutie mark represents that his talent is family. Before the apocalypse, Mr. Blake was a regular citizen who's pride and life revolved around his family. When he lost his wife in a car crash it was hard but he had his little girl. When she was turned by biters his core being (His talent) was twisted up. He tossed himself into Woodbury and the citizens probably looked to his cutie mark as a symbol of Community. While behind the scenes he kept his Biter daughter like a little pet, hoping for a cure.
When biter Penny (Lol would her 'pony name' be Bitsy?) was destroyed it truly hollowed out everything he felt was what he lived for.

It's interesting and fun to think about a characters Mark int his sort of story situation. One has to think about what the character was before the apocalypse. What truly defines them and how it's effected when passing into the survival world.

There's a couple of reasons for the color. One is because the whole Mark itself, in Biter-world, is a bit of a deception in the case of this character post-apocalypse. He lies and puts up a front of being the caring figurehead that fights for you with the caring of a protector. The color just helps that.
This is what I'd thought but was a little worried about the perception. What everyone has to understand was that the Governor wasn't some badass pre-losing his family OR when he would have gotten his Mark. So it's not going to be some grenade or eye patch or Govornor symbol.

The other reason was when I asked my partner in crime what it should be (already having everything above in mind) she said 'NIPPLE PINK'. So yes, the other reason is because it's totally funny.

I know this description is already a wall of text but I wanted to add one more thing.

A funny story about my personal life:

When I was a little smeet, one night I was running around a house full of adults. I just happen to be about lowered hand height and ran right into a lit cigarette. Unfortunate aim made it go right into my left eye.
So preschool me had an eye patch for a while. They called me Patch.
